International Academic Competitions runs the International Academic Bowl at our Asian Championships and at an online regional-level tournament during the academic year. This is an all-subject quiz bowl tournament for school teams with questions from all academic disciplines, including science, literature, art, music, history, geography, religion, mythology, mathematics, and more. Any school that finishes in the top 50% at the online regional-level tournament or that has students competing in the International Science Bee, International Geography Bee, or International History Bee at the Asian Championships is welcome to field one or more Academic Bowl teams at the Asian Championships. There is no limit to the number of teams that can take part per school, as long as there is at least one student on each team competing in one of the three subject-specific championship competitions.
Please note that the rules and format for the Academic Bowl are the same as the rules for the International History Bowl. If you are interested in further practice questions, please see www.quizbowlpackets.com and if you are interested in further quiz bowl tournament opportunities, please contact suopeng@iacompetitions.com for further information. Please also see the IAC Coaches For Hire page (listed on our USA website, but these coaches are available for students in Asia as well) if you are interested in personal coaching.

International Academic Competitions also organizes the International Academic Bee Asian Championships on the Friday morning of the Asian Championships weekend. This tournament is open to any student who is competing in any other event at the Asian Championships, and does not otherwise require prior qualifying. It uses the same rules as the International Science Bee, International Geography Bee, and the International History Bee.
